Autumn Skies   4 comments

This time of year we get some really interesting skies, I’m lucky being on my side of the valley because I get to see what’s happening for a hundred miles or so to the west of here. This is tonight’s show, tweaked a little bit to give it a bit more drama but essentially the same as it looked in real life.

  1. Loverly pic, Chris.
I used to see some spectacular thunderclouds and lightening shows above the Taurus range from north Cyprus.

  2. Hi Javaid, yes I used to watch them from the Troodos mountain range when I was stationed in Cyprus, now I’m amongst it all and they are truly awesome sometimes.

  3. Fantastic photo Chris, the great plains of the American midwest have spectacular sunsets, rather like being on the sea because of the great unobstructed horizon and the lingering of the sun sinking in the west. Thanks for sharing

  4. Thanks John, and right from my terrace too.
